Instructions

BASE 1: Learn a song/poem from a different country. This is a limerick from USA.
A Canner Can Can Limerick

A canner exceedingly canny,
One morning remarked to his granny:
"A canner can can
Anything that he can,
But a canner can't can a can, can he?

BASE 2: Beaver equivalents. We will consider French Beaver Scout equivalents. Use Factsheet 260039 from Gilwell, along with images etc.

BASE 3: Five flags- Beavers, in their lodges should each pick a different flag and draw it, they should try and find a fact about the country, which they should then share as a lodge (minimum of 5).

BASE 4: Five foods & learn a greeting- try five different foods, talk about where they come from, whether Beavers like them or not and if we have a similar version. Utilise the leaders' language abilites and teach a greeting known by one of them. Simple examples: Bonjour- French, Ciao- Italian etc.
