Instructions

Finding painted rocks is the latest community craze – check out Facebook sites like Palmy Rocks, Hamilton Rocks, Timaru Rocks etc – essentially you search for painted stones in parks and community spaces and when you find one you hide it again for someone else to find.
Paint rocks one week and later in the term go hide them - and search for others.
Let the girls paint any design they like, spots, stripes, apples, stars – anything the girls can manage.
Have a space for the rocks to be left to dry. When they are dry they will need to be varnished (this may need to be done at home by a leader) ready for hiding on the last week of term.
