Description

A navigation exercise using QR codes to give grid references

Resources

Mobile phones with QR code reader (one for each group)
QR codes (use a free online generator) printed and laminated
Map (one for each group)

Instructions

Use a free online QR code generator to create QR codes which are linked to a grid reference.
Print off each QR code (best to laminate these).
Setup a route by placing the QR code sheets in the location of set grid references.
The groups will be given the grid ref for the first point and have to use the maps to navigate their way there, where they have to find the QR code which, when scanned will give them the grid reference to the next point and so on.
