Description

An activity worksheet which explains the difference between a dictionary and a thesaurus and when you would use each, followed by some questions where Cubs have to look up some words.

Resources

Children's dictionary and thesaurus, (borrow these from local library or school). Also need copies of the worksheet and pen/pencils.

Instructions

Using the activity sheet, discuss what a dictionary is and how you would use it and also what a thesaurus is and how you would use it.
