Description

The Green Beret Challenge is a weekend competition that enables teams of Scouts from across Hertfordshire to compete in FOUR elements:
• Orienteering
• Assault Course
• Challenge Incidents (daytime)
• Night Exercises
The Challenge is designed to test a group of Scouts through a range of physical and intellectual activities. It also proves to be a significant challenge to their Leadership and Teamwork skills.
We are intending to enter several teams of six Scouts from the different Scout troops from Hertford District. The will be the opportunity to enter mixed Scout Troop teams where a Scout Troop do not have enough to form an individual team of six.
A group of Leaders from the district will support the teams during the weekend, providing lots of hot food and drink, supporting the teams prepare for the competition and looking after the Scouts wellbeing. No doubt about it, IT’S TOUGH !! but an excellent opportunity to have fun and test yourself.
