A scale model of the solar system created using print outs of planets and toilet roll.

For 4 lodges: One print out with planets and distances (pdf contains 4 sets of each), and 4 toilet rolls.

Instructions

This gives an idea of the relative sizes of the planets in our solar system, and their relative distances. Different scales are used for the distances and the planets in order to retain manageable sizes. The pdf contains 4 sets of planet illustrations, and 4 tables of the relative distance measured in pieces of toilet roll.
