Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

This is a game that is to be played to test the groups understanding of map reading and grid referencing by putting them in to a game based situation.
The difficulty of this game can be altered by the leader depending on the knowledge and understanding of the group by using 6 Figure Grid Referencing instead of 4 Figure Grid References

Explorers difficulty could include the use of contours and land marks alongside using longer Grid References.

Resources

At least one whiteboard - this is for the recording the grid reference of the ships or targets location. Multiple whiteboards can be used depending the number of teams playing
Coloured Board marker pens - for recording hits and misses. This needs to be enough for each team to have one of every colour being used
Floor Tape - this is for making our the grid in which the activity will take place.
Markers (preferably colour coded for each team)
