Resources

Plant pots/ plastic cups (need a hole for drainage)
Soil
beans/peas/sunflower/cress

Instructions

Cubs plant their beans in some soil in a their pot and give it a water.

Each six is doing their own experiment.

1) Grow a bean with light & water.
2) Grow a bean with no water.
3) Grow a bean with no light.
4) Grow the bean and after the seed starts to sprout turn it upside down and replant.

The cubs take their beans home and follow the instruction and record what happens. They bring it in for the meeting in two weeks time to share with the others what has happened.
