GGNZ Simple Cheese Fondue

It only takes 5 minutes for the cheese fondue to be ready so get the dipping things ready first.


1 bottle of Phoenix apple juice (or similar -cloudy is best as clear can be tart)
2 tbsp corn flour (or rice flour if gluten free)
1 cup of grated cheese


Add juice and corn flour, and whisk together.
Slowly heat and stir, bringing the temperature up to cook out the corn flour.
Once thickened remove from the heat and add cheese a little at a time.
Whisk in and serve straight away.

The best thing about this sauce is that we can combine savoury flavours with fruit and vegetables, so the meal can be well balanced and fun. Here are some suggestions:
Apple segments
Carrot sticks
Celery sticks
Cherry tomatoes
