Instructions

Based on feedback from some groups plus a few external factors, the Harbour and Hickson events will proceed as originally scheduled this weekend.

Saturday 17 March
Harbour Race briefing 0930, race begins at 1000
Sunbursts

Sunday 18 March
Hickson Regatta
Briefing 0930, rowing begins at 1000

A few things to note:

Low water in the harbour at 1150 Saturday and 1240 on Sunday
Weather Saturday calling for 10-12kt SE
Weather Sunday shows almost nil wind; whatever we get will be quite variable E-W
The Evans Bay Yacht Club is holding an event Saturday which will make the launch ramp rather busy. We will be sailing out in the harbour later so we should not be in each others' way too much.
The Cadets will be joining us for the Harbour Race but not Hickson. Their building will be available for us on Saturday but not Sunday. Thus, we cannot store anything in their building overnight and showers/toilets will not be available Sunday.
Due to a kids Tryathlon at Kilbirnie, there may be some pressure on the car park on Sunday. I have made up a bunch of laminated parking pass cards which can be distributed on Saturday to anyone intending to park up on Sunday. Britannia have kindly offered to provide a person(s) to manage access.
