Make a simple felt poppy incorporating sewing on a button

Irons
Ironing boards
Shoe polish and brushes, newspaper

Red felt
Black buttons
Needles and thread

Instructions

Group 1
Iron neckers and roll, polish shoes
Group 2
Each Cub to have 2 discs of red felt 1x4.5 cm diameter, 1x7cm diameter
Lay the smaller disc on top of the bigger one. In the middle of the small disc place a black button and sew on.
This will give you a simple poppy, which can either be used as part of a larger display or can have a safety pin added to the back and worn on the uniform for Remembrance Day
