Description

Decorate Umbrella's for Watton Rotary Club Umbrella Festival. The Beavers/Cubs to put designs on paper first, then Colony/Pack to vote for winner/winners which will be transferred to the Umbrella's. Umbrellas can be decorated in 2D or 3D. If necessary print some images of umbrellas to give Beavers/Cubs ideas. Or give them a theme like raining Cats & Dogs/Lest we forget!
This event raises funds for Prostate Cancer and Rotary Charities.

Resources

Umbrellas from Watton Rotary Club. Different Fabrics, Sewing kits, Fabric Paints, Stickers, Tinsel, buttons, sequins, ribbon etc & Glue

Instructions

Template of one fraction of the umbrella in paper form. Hand out for the Beavers/Cubs to put their design on. Once Colony/Pack have decided on Winners. Design can be transferred to the Umbrella ready for the competition.
