Using the questions below, ask Guides to research, at home, a famous person with a disability e.g. Beethoven. The following week, they can discuss their findings with the Unit. Ask them to print a photo of the person and to bring it with them.

Sample questions:
1) Name of the famous person?
2) Where was she/he born?
3) Tell a little about her/his early childhood.
4) Why are they famous?
5) What is their disability?
6) Were they born with the disability? If not, how did it develop?
7) How did the disability affect their life? For example, did it enhance their talent or put an end to their career?
8) What year did the person die?
