Invisible Ink
Introduction:
 As part of the Brownie Science Investigator badge talk to the girls about what they already know about science
 Do they know any scientists in real life?
 Have they ever done a science experiment before?
 What was the experiment?

Instructions
1. Give every Brownie her own sheet of paper and a paper cup per Six with a little of the liquids in the bottom of it.
2. Using the paintbrushes or cotton buds the Brownies write a secret message on the sheet of paper.

Option 1
The Leader places the sheets of paper under a tea towel and use the iron, without the steam function, to heat the paper until the liquid turns brown in colour and the message can be read.

Option 2
Salt is poured onto the paper with the ‘invisible ink’ and left for a minute. When the salt is removed the Brownies can colour over their page with wax crayon to reveal their secret message.
