Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Team dodgeball, but teamwork is vital - if a selected Scout is hit, the whole teams looses - teamwork is essential.

Resources

Balls (nothing hard), amount depends on people
Something to divide the room (chairs, chalk etc.)

Instructions

1. Split the room in two.
2. Split the Scouts into two teams, one on each side.
3. Place balls in the middle
4. Choose one selected Scout (or two depending on numbers) on each team to be 'the chosen one'. If this Scout is hit, the whole team is out. Hence, teamwork is essential and team members might have to risk their own lives for the benefit of the team.
4. On the whistle, the game begins. Scouts must throw the balls at their opponents to get them out (Leader decides below waist or shoulders etc.)
5. If hit, you are out. Keep playing until a whole team is defeated.
6. Repeat with a different 'chosen one'. Scoring encourages competition as rounds can be quite quick.

Optional rules:
- No moving with the ball (this encourages and teamwork and makes it harder).
- If you catch the ball, the person who threw it is out.

ALTERNATIVE:
Instead of a ''Chosen one'', chairs or objects could be used
