Description

Team dodgeball but with a curtain up in the middle - you don't know where the balls will come flying from!

(Also known as Hadrian's Wall Dodgeball, with Celts V Romans to add a historical twist)

Resources

Rope/string across the hall
Curtain/tarpaulin/sheets (something to act as a wall to block the two teams)
Balls (nothing hard)

Instructions

Normal team dodgeball rules but you cannot see where the balls will come from next - much more exciting!

1. Hang up the block.
2. Split the Scouts into two teams, one on each side.
3. Throw in the balls
4. On the whistle, the game begins. Scouts must throw the balls at their opponents to get them out (Leader decides below waist or shoulders etc.)
5. If hit, you are out. Keep playing until a whole team is defeated or until excessive time is used and it is best to bring everyone back on.

Optional rules:
- No moving with the ball (this encourages and teamwork and makes it harder).
- If you catch the ball, a player can come back in on your team.
