Description

Circle game where Beavers have to guess where the toy haggis is hiding.

Resources

Toy furry haggis (or use something similar such as a beanbag or small ball).

Instructions

Beavers sit in a circle.
Explain to the Beavers what haggis really is (traditional Scottish dish made of lamb, onion, oatmeal, suet, spices and salt) but that people in Scotland often have fun pretending a haggis is a real animal which can be hunted and eaten!
One Beaver leaves the room.
Beavers pass a small toy haggis around the circle.
The Beaver who is outside knocks 3 times on the door then comes back into the room.
The Beaver holding the haggis once the knocking starts has to hide it quickly on them (e.g. up jumper, under legs).
The Beaver who has come into the room has up to 3 attempts to guess where the haggis is hiding.
Choose another Beaver to go out then repeat.
