Paper Darts

Description

Each cub will be given four sheets of A4 paper to make paper darts,
the aim is to fly the furthest, with each dart scoring one point for every meter flown in a straight line at the end of the allotted time.
Each point will go towards their sixes score, each dart will only be scored once however can be thrown as many times as a cub wishes to improve its score


Resources

A4 paper, ideally in the sixes/patrols colors
tape measure
spray chalk or some form of marking device to visualize distance on the ground

Instructions

Cubs build up to four paper darts.
from a determined mark each cub throws there dart out onto the marked grid area
Each meter achieved scored a point for their six/patrol
Darts can be thrown more than once but only the final resting position will count at the end of the allocated time frame
If a cub is happy with their distance the dart is left to rest until the time is up and moves onto their next dart

10 minutes dart making, can use extra ie: lollypop sticks etc
10 minutes flying
