Instructions
There are two main jobs: making the Christmas tree itself, and making the decorations. The children can choose whether they want to do one or other or both.
Make a large Christmas tree by sticking strips of tissue paper onto the backing paper in a tree shape (can let them stick out to give some texture). Use cardboard for the trunk and some wrapper paper for the 'pot'. Some tinsel gives the tree a Christmassy look before the decorations have been hung up. Pin the tree to the noticeboard.
Make decorations to hang on the tree: colour in the attached pictures, stick to card, attach a ribbon, add a number to each (1 - 24).
Each week, hang the numbered decorations on the tree up until the date of the next meeting. The tree will be fully decorated on the last meeting before Christmas.
