Drainpipe challenge

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Members use a variety of pieces of drainpipe to get balls from a starting location to an end one. Requiring team work to make the journey.

Resources

Short sections of drainpipe (identical sets for each team for fairness - unless doing an unfair games night!)
Variety of balls (identical sets for each team...)
2x buckets or containers per team - one for balls to start in and the other as the target for them to reach

Instructions

Place the Cubs into teams.
Give each Cub a piece of drainpipe. (Making sure to balance the teams unless on an unfair games night.)
Each team has a container of balls that they have to move from one end of the area to the other.
Apart from placing the ball on the first piece of pipe the ball must not be touched by any hands - just controlled using the pieces of drainpipe.
Move all the balls from one container to the other.
First time to move all the balls wins.

You can add obstacles for Cubs to go over or under to make it more challenging - e.g. a table for them to have to take the balls under.
