Mini Prayer Wheels
Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK
Description
Explain to the Beaver Scouts that in places like Tibet people use prayer wheels to spread blessings and wellbeing
- Cut eight strips of paper about 12cms by 1cm and ask the Beaver Scouts to write someone or something theyÂ’d like to think about on each strip
- Stick the strips onto the top of a cotton reel (or small pot with a hole in the centre of its base) so that they spread out in all directions
- Glue small buttons onto the ends of each strip to act as weights
- Cut a circle of card to stick onto the top of the wheel and secure the paper strips
- Put the wheel onto a small cane so that it can be spun gently
- As the Beaver Scouts spin their wheels they can think about what or who they have written on their wheels
