Description

one on one, or two on two hockey game, chairs as goal, socks rolled into ball as ball/puck and rolled up newspaper as hockey stick

2 Chairs
2 sticks (rolled up newspaper)
1 ball of socks

Instructions

Roll and tape up newspaper into stick
Roll socks into ball
place chairs opposite end of hall

send lodges to either end in equal numbers, give each person a number for each team, so you end up with one 1 for both teams. beavers must remember their numbers

to play, place hockey sticks in centre circle with the ball.
call out one number ie 6 and then the two beavers given 6 must race to the middle, pick up a hockey stick and try and dribble the ball into the goal (through chair legs)
everyone gets a one on one situation, then cycle through adding two numbers with extra hockey sticks, ie 2 and 8 together.

Might be worth keeping score, but likely to get too complicated!
