Description
Work in sixes, using Google and other Internet resources to solve a list of questions.
Resources
Internet access.
At least one web browser device (e.g. Chromebook, Laptop) per team.
Question sheet (with answers)
(Optional) Whiteboard
Instructions
First, create a page with a list of questions. These can be given points -- 1 for easy, 5 for medium and 10 for hard.
Teams can work on the questions in any order they choose. Once they have an answer to a question, they bring it to the Adjudicator; if the answer is correct, is is marked off, and their team's score is updated on the whiteboard.
When the time limit is reached, the team with the highest score wins!
The questions should range from simple questions that can easily be answered by Google (e.g: "When is the Queen's real birthday?") through more complex ones that need Wikipedia (e.g. "What colour was the Libyan flag in 2010?") to harder ones that need multiple lookups (e.g. "What colour is the front door on 123 Fake St?").
