Ideas (listed below).

Instructions

Ask the Beavers why they think trees are important.

Some ideas are: -

Trees are the biggest plants on the planet.

They make oxygen which we need to breathe to stay alive!

They take in carbon dioxide, a gas in the air, and this helps to slow the world warming up. We need the world to stay at the right temperature so that everything can live.

They are homes to wildlife such as birds, insects and fungi.

They provide us with the materials for tools and shelter.

They are good for our health trapping dust and absorbing pollution from the air. They also provide shade and reduce noise.

People like to live and go to school or work in areas where there are trees.

Trees are good to play in and have adventures!

They are the longest living species on earth and give us a link between the past, present and future.
