Description

Braziers are used across the world as a low-cost fuel-efficient cooking stove. Here in the UK a brazier makes an ideal way to cook and keep warm using the minimal amount of fuel and with minimal environmental damage. It safely contains a cooking sized fire within a small area. It is cheap to make (free) and last many uses.
Best of all it’s fun AND useful AND Environmentally sustainable
Resources
A catering sized bean tin.
A way of making holes in the tin;
Cone or Step cutters are ideal (at least 20mm diameter) , less than £10.00 on ebay. Used with a power drill. (makes neat holes which are not too sharp once the brazier has been fired a few times).
or
A hammer and cold chisel will work or even a hammer and a large nail at a pinch ( caution, these make very ragged sharp holes)...not ideal for other than single use because storing a sharp tin is awkward.
Eye and hand protection.
