Introduction
The World Conference is held every 3 years in a different country
(In 1999 it was held in Dublin) To this, representatives from all the countries which belong to WAGGGS will come and talk about the many things which we all have in common and make decisions for the future of Guiding. It is an interesting and important occasion.
Here is a game from Norway which is a member of WAGGGS
WAVES
Instructions
Mark two line across the hall about a metre apart
Mark a “home” at each end of the hall
Divide the Pack into two groups, one group behind each line facing each other
One group are “Waves” and they all join hands and swing them backwards and forwards while they count loudly, “one, two, three, swish”
The other group are children picking up shells on the beach. They are on their hands and knees until the “Waves” shout “Swish”.
Then they get up and run as fast as they can to their “home” at the other end of the hall, with the “Waves” chasing them.
Any Brownie who is caught be the “Waves” joins hem and the game continues until all the Children are caught.
Then the groups change places
