Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK
Description
The usual games of rounders but with three different types of ball: one to be kicked; one to be thrown; one to be hit.
Resources
6x Hoola Hoops or small cones to mark positions of bowler, bases and home.
3 different types of balls of any size: football (for kicking); rugby or basket ball (for throwing); tennis, cricket, rounders, base ball with associated bat or racket.
2 teams between 6 and 15 players each.
Whistle.
Instructions
Fielders position themselves around the playing field, but do not need to be on the bases, as with normal Rounders.
On the first ball being struck the fielders are not permitted to move from the position and balls may only be passed between players by throwing or kicking.
If any of the balls are caught the Hitter is out, but not the whole team of Hitters.
The football and throwing ball are placed in the the starting base.
The Hitter kicks the football as far as possible and then likewise with the throwing ball. The third ball is bowled and the Hitter must hit it before they can run through each base round to the home base.
The Fielders must get all three balls back to base zero to stop the hitter running.
If the Hitter makes it round in one go they get two points.
If they stop and continue when the next Hitter plays they get one point.
Hitters are not allowed to overtake previous Hitters.
