Beavers check-in and board a 'plane' and pretend to fly!

Resources

Scanner (made from cardboard box painted black so they can push a bag through it), bags (each bring one - tell in advance), tickets (printed - find on internet), other things if wanted (e.g. safety card, holiday booking form), juice and biscuits, chairs arranged in plane isle shape (enough for each child to have one).

Instructions

Beavers check-in their bag, have their ticket and holiday booking form checked then board the plane (sit down!).
Leader does the safety talk (cabin crew) - seat belts, life vests, arms to show exits.
Captain (Leader) explains what the weather will be like, height flying at, time expect to land.
Each Beaver to tell of their flying experiences and what they would like to fly in.
Cabin crew serve refreshments (juice/biscuits).
Can split this up if prefer so they go back on the plane towards the end of the meeting for refreshments.
