Description
In groups of two or three the scouts use dice and a random list to give them the bare bones of a story that they create.
Resources
Dice (two six sided Di per group of two or three)
Paper and pencils (Optional, scouts are not required to write the story down)
Instructions
Numbers from 2 - 12 are drawn on a board twice
First list is Random locations (thought up by the scouts)
Second list is Random objects (thought up by the scouts)
Third section says - Odds = Negative (sad) Evens = Positive (Happy) (Rule is there can be no death
Once the list is created the scout break into groups of 2 or 3.
The first (youngest) rolls the dice and generates a location, they must explain why two characters are in that location
The second scout (next youngest) rolls the dice and generates an object. they must explain how that object has caused an issue for the characters in the story
The third scout (or the first again) then rolls to decide on a positive or negative result, they explain what that result is and it cannot mean death for any of the characters
The scouts can help each other but it is up to the scout that rolled to decide on that bit of the story.
If you have a small number of scouts then they can retell the stories to the rest of the group
