Description

Relay game, where each team tries to be the first to get all their shoes back on.

Nothing - just your shoes

Instructions

Everybody takes (both) their shoes off and puts them in a pile in the middle (try to mix these up as best as possible).

Split the group into (up to 4) teams, ideally with at least 6 people in each team. The teams line up as 'spokes' going out from the central pile of shoes (so if you have 4 teams, they will form a cross with the shoes in between the 4 teams).

When you start, the front person must run up and immediately grab a shoe from the pile (they must NOT spend time sorting through the pile), they then return to the back of the queue and the next person goes.

If the shoe they have picked up is their shoe, then they put it on, if it isn't then they hold on to it until their next turn (ie when they get to the front of the queue again).

If you are holding a shoe then you MUST return it to the pile and pick up a DIFFERENT shoe (when it's your next turn), you can't return with the same shoe.

If there aren't any spare shoes in the middle, then you must return to the end of your queue without picking up a shoe.

If you already have BOTH your shoes on, then you can't pick up another shoe, so you just run to the pile and then run back to the end of your queue (for the next person to then have their turn).

The winning team is the first that has all of THEIR shoes back on.
