Instructions

- Beavers to line up in height order and paired so that they are with someone of a similar height.
- Beavers to sit down in two rows facing their partner (this game usually asks for their legs to be straight out and feet touching their partners but can be played with crossed legs which is a little less risky).
- Give each pair a number
- Explain that when their number is called they stand up, run to the left down the middle of the other Beavers, up the outside of the Beavers, then back down the middle until they are where they were sat. First of the pair to get back to their spot wins a point for their row (ask another leader to keep track of points)

When the Beavers have understood the game the Scout History Sheet can be used. Each pair is then given a word rather than a number and when their word is read in the story they race.
