Aim of Badge
To develop an awareness and an appreciation of cultures other than your own.

This Badge has 6 options of which 6 must be completed

Instructions
• Girls are positioned back to back with a partner, one person facing the front of the hall, one person facing the back of the hall.
• The Leader holds up a card with a line(s) drawn on it.
• The person facing the drawing describes the drawing to their partner who attempts to draw it.
• The time limit is two minutes.

Group discussion:
How did this activity make you feel? Was it easy? What techniques did you use to communicate the instructions? How did you feel if you could not be understood? How did you feel if you couldn’t understand the instructions given by your partner?

The manner in which we communicate our thoughts and feelings greatly influences the way a message is received by someone else. We can all detect harmful feelings.
