Instructions

Young people will watch the videos selected.

Young people will draw around the outline of 2 people in each group (1 for men and 1 for women) and around the outside they will write all of the stereotypes they can think of for each. Inside the outline they will write down thoughts/actual beliefs about men and women, potentially challenging those sterotypes. Think about how those differ around the world.

Young people will discuss in groups their thoughts around the gender roles card they are given from the resource pack.

Young people will devise a short sketch or speech about one of the inspirational women profiles.

Over the evening young people will write their pledges on the wall using sticky notes for actions that they can take to challenge gender equality.
