Description

Need to light a campfire? Make these handy fire starters that can be used at camp or home.
Reuses drier lint and toilet roll tubes

Resources

A supply of empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls/tubes
A supply of Drier Lint

Instructions

1. Gather a fistful of dryer lint. Size up the empty roll/tube you plan to use. Obviously the larger the roll, the more lint you will need. You want to stuff enough lint into the roll to fill it, but not overstuff it.

3. You can fold the ends of the tube in if you want to hold the lint in place.

Store until you need to light a fire, then use in place of fire lighters.

It also works well if you put 1 birthday candle in the roll between tube and lint. The paraffin helps keep it burning until lint catches well. Candles can be bought cheap.
