Instructions

There are instructions at https://www.playwerewolf.co/how-to-play-werewolf-in-75-seconds - that can be played to the Scouts.

Each participant is a character. But they must not tell anyone else who they are. One is a seer, One is a Doctor/Bodyguard, a small number are a werewolf, the rest are villagers. Plus there is a moderator/narrator.

For 6-8 players - one werewolf
For 9-11 players - two werewolves
For 12-15 players - three werewolves

As the Scouts gather on zoom, email/text/whatapp the parent with the character that their Scout will play. They tell the Scout, but they must both keep this a secret. They must keep it a secret all the way through the game, unless they are killed off.

The aim is for the villagers to identify the werewolves, and kill them off. Or for the werewolves to kill off the villagers.

Moderator's script

Night has fallen. Everyone has gone to sleep. [It is important that everyone shuts their eyes. Please do not cheat. It will ruin the game.]

Werewolves wake up. Choose between you who to kill. Remember if you speak, they will identify you. You can use your pen and paper. Be quick as dawn will be here soon.

Werewolves go to sleep. [no peaking]

Doctor wakes up. You can choose one person to save. You do not know who has been killed. But whoever you choose will not have been killed.

Doctor go to sleep. Remember if you speak, they will identify you. You can use your pen and paper. Remember you must not tell anyone that you are the doctor.

Seer wakes up. You can choose to reveal the identity of another player. The moderator (me) will indicate whether they are a werewolf or a villager. Remember if you speak, they will identify you. You can use your pen and paper. Remember you must not tell anyone that you are the Seer.

Seer goes to sleep.

It is morning. Everyone can wake up. There has been a death during the night. [Or there has not been a death as someone was saved during the night.]

You need to discuss amongst you who you accuse of being a werewolf and to lynch them.

One of you can propose a name. Someone can second. At that point the person being accused can argue against being lynched. You must not reveal your identity but you can lie. Make the lies good!

It can be that you can propose and second a second person. Again they can argue against it.

When you are ready. You all vote to lynch someone.

That person is now a ghost and can reveal whether they were a villager or a werewolf. They can no longer take part in any discussion. [Again, please do not cheat.]

And night falls with a similar pattern.

Variations.
You can shorten discussions by putting a time limit on it. If they have not reached a decision by then - no one gets lynched.

Or you can have more than one lynching.

Or you can have more than one killing in the night.
