Game for playing during online meetings. Could easily be played in-real-life.
Based on higher/lower game - Play your card right.
Encourages everyone to participate and have some, no harm, fun.
Works well as an ice-breaker for an online meeting to get everyone focused on the session and not the tech.
Resources
Pack of cards.
Large cards would be nice, but a simple pack of cards will do - you just need to hold them closer to the webcam!
Instructions
Have everyone stand up.
Show them a card.
Ask them to guess if the next card will be HIGHER or LOWER.
If they think it will be HIGHER - they put their hand on their head.
If they think it will be LOWER - they put their hand on their hip.
Turn over the next card.
Have the 'losers' sit down.
Repeat until you have a winner - last one standing.
If the number on the card is the same (ie 4 then 4) that's a free round.
Repeat from the top as many times as you like.
Variation 1:
Ace low, King High
Show a card then ask one of the Cubs or Beavers if they think the next card to be shown is higher or lower.
If they are right they stay in the game and the next person has a go.
If they are incorrect then they sit out for the rest of the game.
Either mute you or stop the video on them till the game has finished.
Keep playing until there is 1 Cub/Beaver left
If the card is the same then they can have another go
Variation 2:
Ace low, King high
Show a card to the camera, Players decide if the next card will be higher or lower & indicate by either using thumbs up or down or using the hand clap for lower & thumbs up for higher Zoom emotions
If a player is wrong they sit out
