Description

Online Game - Cubs or Beavers are given a number of household objects to find.
The first letter of each when re-arranged makes a Cub Activity Badge.

As well as a game it may inspire the Cubs/Beavers to look at a badge they could do at home with their parents.

Resources

paper and pencil are useful to solve the anagram

Instructions

Preparation:
Leader looks though the cub badge list. https://www.scouts.org.uk/cubs/activity-badges/ and picks a badge.
Could to keep the page open so it can be shared after the game and talked about

Optional: Leader collect one of each object to show the young people what they have to collect.
Makes it more visual and may help the youngest in the group.

T =. go and get a toothbrush
S = go and find a shoe
I = go and get an ice cube (or anything with ice in it)
T = go and get a TV Remote Control
R = go and get a rabbit (eg toy rabbit, ornament, or just a picture from a book)
A = go and get any object that starts with the letter 'A' (interesting how many get something less obvious that an apple :-) )

Then tell the cubs to not shout out the answer but to rearrange the first letters and then write down on a piece of paper and hold it up to the screen
(This gives the slower Cubs a chance to solve the puzzle and not just give up when they hear someone shout out the answer.
It also helps the leader to know who solved it first amongst all the noise!)
