Ask the cubs to experiment and make the best parachute or hot air ballon

Plastic or paper bags
String
Sellotape
Figurine
Hairdryer

Instructions

Explain they need to use a plastic or paper bag and string. They can also use tape and use a lego man or small figure to travel in it.
For the hot air balloon they can use a hair dryer to fill the bag and watch it rise... tell them to watch what happens when the air cools over time.
If cubs have previously done knots, remind them that they can use this skills during this activity.
