Printed cardinal point pictures/posters

Instructions

Using the included images (which should be printed off) place in either the four opposite ends and sides of a room or can be places according to a known direction, using an actual compass.

When in place, indicate the directions/bearings to young people. Ask young people to stand in middle of room or space, and shoult out the direction/bearing you wish them to move to. If they go to the wrong area, they are out or lose a life. Once no mistakes are being made you can bring the group together and excplain the intercardinal points (NE, SE, SW and NW) and include these in your game, with the aim of reinforcing the cardinal poiints. Obviously this can be increased in difficulty further with the intermediary points for each of the intercardinals, but this may become confusing.
