Each participant needs to have a large sock to put small items in.
Suggested small items which each participant needs to have in their sock could include: paperclip, AA battery, button, pen lid, small ball - bouncy/ping pong/golf ball, coins - specify which ones!, rubber band, small pebble or stone, safety pin, dice, key ring, 2x2 standard Lego brick, sticky plaster, small toy figure etc Change to suit your needs, as long as they all have the same list to work from this is fine.

Instructions

Socks and items could be collected during the meetings as in a Scavenger hunt type activity or ask them to prepare in advance of the meeting.
Each child has their sock containing the small items and when the leader says which item is to be found the children find the item by using only touch! No looking into the sock or tipping out, it is about using the sense of touch to understand what is being felt.
You can award points for the first to produce the selected item.
Items are returned to the sock before the next item is announced.
