An introduction activity to Remembrance Day themed meeting on Zoom.

Resources

Any household items - e.g. towel, sheet, paper, string, clothes, cushions, teddies.

Instructions

Explain to the Beavers that we are going to be finding out about Remembrance Day this evening.
People often wear poppies around this time and we'll find out why later in the meeting.
To start with, we want them to spell the word POPPY using anything they can find.
The challenge is to make the word as big as they can!
(Parents will need to give a hand; let them know about the activity in advance.)
Have a look at each Beaver's word in turn.
