World book day scavenger hunt. Children need to find various items for example a king then list the book title, page number, is it a word, picture or both. See download.

Instructions

The scavenger hunt form can either be taken home, emailed to parents to download and children to participate in their own time.

If over zoom to go through each item to see if the Beavers can find the items in their books. Ask them to show you the book and ask the book title, what page is the item on and whether it is a work, picture or both. Discuss the book with them what would their rating be. What did they like about the book etc.

If on Zoom read out the quiz and get beavers to answer by writing it down or
Face to Face by running to a predetermined area in the hall eg have options A at one wall, option B on another you get the idea. Beavers can then run to the answer they think or will they follow the crowd if they don't know the book. Ones that answer incorrectly are out.
