Instructions

Watch the video and talk about why we celebrate women's day and appreciate the women in our lives.
#EmbraceEquity is 2023 theme, ask cubs to embrace themselves and promise to embrace women in their lives.
Talk about the difference between equality - everyone is the same and gets the same rights and has the same duties- and equity - every one is treated fairly and has the same opportunities.
Play a game b having the cubs/scouts in turn remember a woman in their lives and say something nice about her. They stand in one side of the room and with every positive comment (real one) they take a step ahead. Examples of comments: women are mothers, without them we would not be alive, women are nurturing and they take care of us, women make life more beautiful because they love beauty, etc. Allow cubs to copy each others comments.
