Why an opening ceremony?
Lots of people find it helpful to have a structure to their meetings, including things like an opening ceremony. An opening ceremony captures people’s attention and gets them ready to listen and join in.

Instructions

Beavers to be sat in their named seats with their personal pack.

We start with Calling out "Log Call"

Then each week to take it in terns for one Beaver (Alphabetically) to be named to do the Raising and lowering of the flag at end of meeting.
Beaver ?????? Gather Logs. They will come up to the front and raise the flag.

When the flag is raised Beavers to do beaver salute all Leaders to shout out " Beavers do your best.

Beavers to reply "We will do our best".

The person leading the activities welcomes them and tells them what they’ll be doing in the meeting.
