Introduction
Get into the headspace for science, what even is science (its big and scary and everywhere), with a little icebreaker and a few simple questions.

Instruction
World of the future – how do developments in science and engineering improve the way we live?
• In small groups or as a unit play a game of Charades. Play the game with some of the following items for inspiration; mobile phone, elevator, car, train, wind turbine, vaccine, computer, internet, ball point pen, satellite, sliced bread, matches, nails and screws, a fridge, zippers, glasses, photocopier, flush toilet, toilet paper, keys, wheels, light bulb, electricity, watches and clocks, cameras, flying, remote controls etc.
• Find an object around the house/name an object you own or have at your house that improves the way we live
• Quiz! To see if guides know what things are really made of, with the answers comes little science facts also
• Find out more about two famous scientists.
o Pick which scientist is which
o In depth talk about Rosalind Franklin
o Quick Fact File on Marie Curie
o Another Quiz!
