Description
Build a raspberry pi controlled robot buggy
get it working, connected to the laptop via vnc viewer and learn how to give it simple commands using python, for digital maker stage 3,
for stage 4 they will need to learn additional commands and get it working following a line using sensors.
Resources
Rasperry pi (preferably 3/4 not 0)
pimoroni explorer phat (or phat pro)
pimoroni sts-pi roving robot kit
usb battery pack (we used the waveshare lipo battery hat)
wireless keyboard and mouse set (this helps set up but may not be needed later)
laptop with real vnc "vnc viewer" installed
wi fi network (we tethered to a mobile phone)
