Instructions
Introduce the theme of International Day of the Girl 2021 and what you will be doing as you work through this pack. Use the information on page 1 of the attachment.
Researching the news:
a. As a group, collect a selection of headlines that talk about girls and women. You can find them online, on TV, social media or newspapers and sort them into bad news, no news, good news.
b. Discuss why you have put each headline into a certain category (question template in attachment at p. 5)
c. Reflection: Do you feel hopeful for the future? Do you think you need to stand up and make a difference? (more questions in the attachment at p. 6)
