Description

A simple fun game combining simple grid references and Rock Paper Scissors.

Resources

To do this you will need chalk, a single six sided dice (Preferably a large one) and some space.

Instructions

Lay out a six by six grid on the floor (labeled 1-6 on both axis) we do this by chalking on the floor. (Designate which is Eastings and Which is Northings)
While this is being done the cubs should be sorted into two teams with team captains or however you want get them together, it could also be played in sixes,

The first member of the team rolls the dice twice, the first gives them the 'Easting' and the second the 'Northing' the cub then enters that sqaure,
This repeats until someone lands on the same square, they Rock Paper Scissors and the looser is 'Out'.
Repeat until you have a winner.

I find it really useful to get them into the idea of Grid References.
