Engage in discussing LGBTQ identity's with young people through the creation of LGBT inspired bunting.

Different colours of fabric/felt to match LGBT flags (Images below - suggested flags to: Pride, Lesbian bi and trans)

Instructions

*Cut the fabric in to equal strips before the start of the meeting.*

Divide into patrols/groups and designate the scouts in a patrol to make one type of flag OR set up stations and have scouts work their way round.

Have them sew together in them together in rectangles, when sewn together fold part of top backwards, creating a tube for the string to go through sew the bottom of this tube making sure to keep the ends open for the string to go through.

arrange together to create LGBT bunting and display around your hall and reflect on what you have done:
Talk about some LGBTQ identities? what are some difficulties that LGBTQ people face, and where people can go to find support e.g switchboard and a safe space e.g. Scouting.
