Description

Make a spinner to choose an activity.
We did this as part of an evening on Shabbat (Jewish day of rest) to choose an activity to do during the Shabbat day.

Resources

Spinner outlines, squares of card, crayons/felt pens. glue sticks, printed activity choices, split pins, paper clips,

You can see these on the intranet if you search 'spilt pin and paper clip spinner'.

Instructions

The spinner is coloured in and then glued to a square of card.
The Beavers then pick 6 activities to glue on, these are activities that would be done on the Shabbat.
They colour in the activities, then stick them on the spinner in each section.
A split pin is put in the middle of the circle and a paper clip is underneath it that can be used as a spinner.
Challenge the Beavers to use at home and enjoy doing the activities.
